The number of overdose deaths has seen a decline the past few years, but the numbers are still staggering and a majority of them continue to be the result of fentanyl. Fake pills play a major role in these overdoses, so it is vital to learn the essential information that needs to be passed on to our youth and others so they can be educated regarding this epidemic. The opioid landscape is constantly evolving, so this session will also take a look at new synthetic opioids that are emerging.
